Canteen on Clifton Street, Cardiff Review

Good Points
Excellent food, both regular and vegetarian. Vegan food offered that is perfect, the vegan sticky toffee pudding was superb! Very affordable, small menu of interesting food. I did try a bit of everything, and I had no complaints.

Bad Points
Needs some art work on the walls. The new decoration is a bit bare.

General Comments
The Canteen on Clifton Street, Cardiff has just opened, and on a recommendation I tried it last Saturday. The food was refreshingly good; so good I will definitely be back. It is also cheap, or other restaurants are overpriced. I went with a vegan and a meat eater (I'm a veggie) and we all had a choice of food. Well the vegan had one choice only (one more than normal) but loved it! There has only been one good choice of veggie food in Cardiff, and now there is another. We will be back.
