General Comments

I took out a policy from them because it came out to be the cheapest for my bike insurance, I had paid them monthly, so they asked for a deposit and the first months payment, after about a week I have managed to get business insurance through my work so i no longer required it so I gave them a call to cancel the policy, when I spoke to customer services it took me about 15 minutes to get through, when I mentioned to cancel the customer services lady said if you cancel we will have to keep the deposit you have paid and also the first months premium and you can't cancel over the phone, you have to write a letter in and enclose all the policy documents before we can process it and the lady also said when they cancel it, the pro rata refund will be given once you have sent the documents in and I asked well will it count from today and she said no, and so I wrote the letter saying I would like to cancel and because I never received their documents I put in the letter confirming it is lost and never received it and signed it, according to adrian flux isn't good enough, they have to send out a sheet of paper saying lost certificate declaration and I have to sign that sheet.... what difference does it make?? Meanwhile that has dragged on a further 2 weeks and they refused to back date the insurance and now they have sent me a letter saying I owe them one months premium..... I've wasted time, stamps, telephone bills to sort this, I would never go back to them ever, they put me through so much stress which I did not need. you are better of going to an insurance company direct such as diamond or elephant etc.
