Good Points

The pictures we saw online were awesome. He has a true gift and great eye.


Bad Points

He does not deliver his product, he is slow, won't return phone calls and he lies.


General Comments

Eddy Guevara was highly recommended by another photographer seen on TheKnot.com. At that time, he had no complaints with the BBB, that I found, but he certainly does now.

My daughter's wedding was September 30, 2006 and her best friend was married April 12, 2006. Neither couple has received their wedding album nor are their phone calls or emails being returned.

We had a mediator contact him yesterday. He answers the phone if you are not a post-wedding bride. He gave the mediator bogus information and could make no promises about delivery dates.Our next step will probably be legal. My daughter's friend is contacting a local consumer's helper from a local television channel as well.

He was paid about $5000 and we yet to receive a single picture and have never seen the proofs for the wedding album or two parent albums which we paid for well in advance of the wedding. The bridal portrait he brought to the wedding (which he did not get out of his car until the reception was nearly over so it did not get displayed) was a large proof. None of the enhancements he promised were done. He took the photo home with him and we've yet to see the proper enhanced version. He hasn't even given us the DVD of photos taken we paid for (along with the right to print photos from it) so we could at least print something on our own.

He did not show up for the rehearsal although he was paid to do so. He did arrive in time for the rehearsal DINNER. He had also agreed to pay his own hotel bill since the wedding was 90 miles from the Metroplex and he could have driven back and forth. He told me he was unable to get a reservation, used one of the rooms we'd reserved all weekend and left me to pay the bill.
