Everything,.... this so called business bank account is just so poor its not possible to run a business using this system I'm leaving after 8 months.
After applying to open the account I had to wait weeks for the account to be opened, cheques I have paid in have taken up to two weeks to clear causing me to go overdrawn for which they are happy to charge me £30 each time and push the blame on to royal mail for not delivering on time.The cynic in me thinks Abbey is probably using this business to generate loads of cash by not processing cheques / cash in time to cover payments. Why does it take 3 days for a cash deposit to clear ?!!! where does my money go to during this time ?? This is not acceptable as a small business I need reliability and somebody who can help me run a profitable business not run me into the ground. I am going to search for a more helpful bank. Free banking - ha ha its caused me more trouble and expense than the lloyds tsb account I left because I was being charged for everything.
