Good Points

I did have permanent hair removal success for several groups of annoying hairs.
It was totally painless.


Bad Points

NO success in using the patches for larger groups of hairs.
Not super easy to use, and very time consuming.


General Comments

My review is mixed: Finally Free Ultra did permanently remove some hairs after two or three uses. It took a few weeks to get a result, and the regrowth was fine, little hairs that were less noticeable. Then, those hairs NEVER came back after the next treatment or two. For me, not having to pluck my eyebrows and the usual 20 stray hairs in embarrassing places is a relief, and for that reason, I say it was worth the price and the effort. Also, I did not experience any pain with the product, and there is no risk of injury or scars, as there is with electrolysis. There are some serious drawbacks to Finally Free, though:

The patches that are sold to remove large areas of hair did NOTHING for me, so the slogan "never shave again" seems rather dishonest. Also, the device is a little awkward and time-consuming to use: You have to keep the hair straight, and then hold the tweezer-like tip closed for about a minute, and this is tiring! It would take a month of Sundays to remove a large number of hairs. Also, my hair is rather fine, and my skin is pale, but my husband has coarser hair and was not able to remove a single hair permanently. Overall, I would say that if you have just a few stubborn hairs that are not very thick, you may have some success with this product after a few times (the instructions say this, and it is true for every type of permanent hair removal).
