I previously had a Marantz KI 63 and wanted to upgrade. I tried the Marantz KI 17, Naim 3, Copland 277 and 288.
Of them all I liked the sound of the 266 the best even above the more expensive Copland 277 & 288.The 266 is very well built with nice machine turned dials and solid drawer.
None too date.
I have now had the Copland for 2 years with not the slightest problem. If I ever upgraded I would probably have to spend in excess of £5000 to improve on the quality of sound.
