Excellent customer service. Value for money. High quality merchandise. Large selection of colors and sizes of ribbon. Personalized ribbon service is quite unique where it has no limitations at all.

Checkout process should be one page rather than the three pages it is now.

I stumbled upon FinerRibbon.com through Google search and I can honestly say that the first class treatment I received from them was so overwhelming that I am taking the time to write a review about them.
At first glance, the site offers one of the largest collections of satin, grosgrain, and organza ribbon on the web. By largest collection, I mean both in colors and sizes - safe to say that the color palette the have is at least a few hundred.
The reason however I visited their site was because of the printed ribbon service they offer, which I was shopping for my own wedding and that is where they are on a class of their own.
The interface available for clients through which they can order personalized ribbon is neatly laid out in steps where the client can choose:
Size of ribbon
Color of ribbon
Emblems (they have a list of at least 50 different emblems for all occasions and also offer the option to print custom emblems or designs)
And finally a unique interface where you can input what you want to have printed on the ribbon through an ingenious text box which gives you font style, size, and layout options. As with the emblems, the client may also request any custom fonts they want.

After all selections are done and the order is submitted, they send you an email with a sample preview of how the artwork would look like and - here's the royal treatment - they actually encourage you to ask them for any layout changes in order to make sure that the artwork is perfect, and should the client decide to make any changes, they work with you until it's 100% satisfactory to the client for no extra charge. I requested modifications twice and they were fast and always courteous, leaving everything to my own pace.

Finally, the icing on the cake is the unique printing system they have set up. Unlike other personalized ribbon services, they do not impose any minimum order quantities, they do not require long production times - my project finished 2 days after I approved the artwork - and most important of all, the ink does not peel or smudge when the printed ribbon is being used for tying bows or gift wrapping.

I'd like to add a personal recommendation; When shopping with them ask for Peter Kelly. He is an absolute treasure. He approached my project not as a service provider but as if he is working for me personally so much so that you'd think you have your own personal ribbon consultant. I ended up asking him, even after my purchase, for help with every aspect of my wedding preparations and every single time he came to my help with detailed recommendations and references. Truly priceless and a joy to talk with.
