Good Points

Impact resistant


Bad Points

Loses signal easily
Awkard new name entry system
Faulty software(shuts down or locks up for no reason)
No infra red connection.
Not really splash proof (bottom cover ill fitting)


General Comments

I have had the 310s 10 months before that I used the siemens s25 for 18 months (no problems whatsoever).The supplier of my phone eircom,replaced the phone and the new phone had exactly the same software problems,if I were given the phone for nothing I would'nt touch it.I run my own electrical contracting business and a reliable phone is vital.Stay away from this phone a bean can with a piece of string attached would be more effective!

    I've never had problems You had with my R310s, and I'm not losing signal ever, like Nokia 3210 did! Well, I can see that this rating is not objective at all... So what if it does not have W@P it's crud anyway... Oh Yeah, the phone's connector IS full water-proof, the cover stands only as a shock and dirt shield.

    You're right, the software is buggy, unfortunately. Otherwise I like this phone, but it hangs now and then (as once in few days, sometimes a week). Its not much, and for me its not vital to have a working phone all the time, but I guess for the money I gave and for respect for me they should have made it without the software bugs. Probably it wasn't tested properly.

    First of all, this phone is made for much different use than the one mentioned in the review... Sorry for my bad english ;) i'm not good at it at all. Anyway, I've had the R310s for some months and I'm quite satisfied. I've read about software bugs,and I notice some while working with the phone, but I use the phone at really hard conditions, and i got the feeling that it is maded just for me ;) I drop it frequently, mess it with dust, water and other liquids and hey, it's just perfect for his price, who cares about some bugs? It is just a phone for outdoor not for business meetings?!
