Good Points

Extremely accurate. Because its made of plastic, it's not too heavy, works well without high fps.

Bad Points

Needs pretty good paint, not a good front man gun for speedball but that's not a big deal, 50/50 ball break at around 200ft.

General Comments

I have used a 98 custom for two years, and have had a 14in tippmann progressive for a year and half and I loved my barrel. But when I fired my friend's flatline barrel it killed my gun. I'm a better shot than he is, but at 175ft he was having no problem hitting the target holding his gun straight and I had to arc my shots to even have a chance. When he let me shoot it I knew I had to get one, I recommend that if you buy a flatline that you get an expansion chamber, because when I got mine, my accuracy was consistant at about 10bps as long as I could cope with the kick of the gun. If you prefer sniping and taking your time with each shot it is still a good upgrade but you don't need it. Hope this helped if you are looking to buy one.

Its Not plastic ! The Flat line Barrel is made of Anodized Aluminum with a special rough surface in the bore to give the ball back spin creating lift.
