General Comments

I bought this Dioneer DCP-100 MP3/WMA CD Player from Scan for £60 after a bit of research. Very pleased, good build quality with an uncluttered layout. LCD has a lot of information displayed, everything from MP3 bit rate to track name, as well as next track. Lots of options for accessing tracks, vital if you are sorting through 200 odd mp3's

Sound quality is very nice, particularly with better headphones than the in ears provided, although these are OK for a casual listen. Reproduces MP3/ WMA files with good results too. Good anti skip function.

Only downsides are that this model has very few extras: no recharge function, no in line remote (available on some models I think) and no carry case, but this was not a big issue for me.

More irritating is the shorter than advertised battery life: I've been using 2000mha rechargable batteries, which only give about 5 hours play, not 12 hours as advertised.

A lot of Player for a low price: despite the slight shortcomings in the battery life, still a brilliant buy, good for in car use or on the move. Highly recommended
