Just what we needed to cater for our families needs.
Great resort for first time skiers like us


General Comments

The simple yet comfortable apartments of the Skalsbyn Apartments are ideally located in the ski area between the Sorbacken and Turisten ski runs. They are adjacent to the ski lifts and within 100m of all the facilities Vemdalen.

This accommodation is great for families with kids as you can cater for your families needs especially if you have fussy eaters like i do!! The living area with well equipped open plan kitchen, we had a terrace(some come with balconies), cable TV, ski locker.

The resort of Vemdalen is small and excellent for beginners as it has gentle, uncrowded slopes that all lead back to the ski base, a superb English-speaking ski school and a dedicated ski and play area for children.

This resort is excellent....a big thumbs up from us!!!
