Good intensity
Battery life; unit stopped working after only a week
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
I purchased this a week ago at Home Depot and it will not work at all now. Battery drain is very bad considering LED's in theory use less power than conventional krypton bulbs. The trouble with mine seems to be either the tail cap or the barrel/switch. The light would flash intermittently when screwing in the tail cap after replacing the batteries, but once the cap was fully tightened, the light would not work. Very disappointed with this light. Mag has had a reputation for manufacturing high quality flashlights, but this one is a lemon. Home Depot will not take it as a return and Maglite said I need to bring it to the closest "authorized repair center", which happens to be 60 miles away! In the trash it went. I still have my old 2AA mini maglite, which works just fine with the Nite Ize LED upgrade. The intensity is not as good and I lose the beam focus, but at least it works.
