These pans do not last. I worked for Scanpan about 10 years ago and have had quite a collection of pans. They scratch easily, and you can not use the dishwasher if you want them to remain nonstick. The "baked in coating" eventually flakes off and reveals a metal base. The amount of pans that get returned because they stick, or peel, or bubble, etc. is astounding. There are boxes and boxes of them daily. Many stores stopped selling them years ago. A celebrity did use and and promote these pans, but guess what.... he was paid to do so.
Is this company still in business? I have heard they have branched out to knifes and bake ware because the pans were such a flop. Beware.

I agree with this review because I have had my scanpan frypan for only about 1 year and the coating is already flaking and peeling. It cost quite a lot and I am very disappointed. I am also concerned that the flaked coating may be poisonous can the pan is basically unusable. What a waste of money.
