General Comments
I've had this bike for about a month, and all of the following reviews ring true. I do a lot of highway and in-between riding, and the thing I love the most is when I pass an 18 wheeler, it doesn't get flipped all over the road by the turbulence. It sounds silly, but I've always had smaller sporty bikes, and the stability of this thing at speed is like a rock. They did their homework with the aerodynamics. I got the last black 2007 model in my area, and I passed on the 2008's because I think the tail section is ugly (just my opinion, don't hate me). Yes the '08 are a bit faster, but I'm not drag racing on a track, and believe me this thing is fast enough for ANYONE on the street as it is. On that note, I've been reading the magazine articles about these super-power bikes for years "well this one makes 10 more horse power, than that", etc etc. What a load of rubbish. At this level of power on the STREET, you won't notice the difference between a ZX-14, an 07 Busa, or an 08 Busa, believe me. If you're looking at one of these mega-bikes, go with the one that moves you the most when you look at it, not with which one won the magazine shoot-out. An amazing motorcycle, and has my highest recommendation to all who may consider it.
