It's an eye catching car and definitely turns heads. Mine is the Arden Blue so quite a rare colour, has no problems picking up speed. Only seen a couple around in the 3 years I've had it, and tend to acknowledge one another (quite sad!!!!!)
Very reliable spent hardly anything in 3 years.
Not really any, the exhaust doesn't do the car justice, considering the SRi Turbo and other Sri's come standard with a twin pipe Irmscher back box. I've recently changed mine for a Powerflow back box and has improved performance and look.
The only other bad point is it's a Vauxhall and they depreciate.
Cam belt needed changing at either 4 years old or 40,000
Strongly recommend the Vauxhall Astra GSi Turbo as it's as quick as type R's and stands out from any other Mk4 Astra's. I bought mine when it was 12 months old and it's got extras like fully leather Recaro heated seats, cruise control and Irmscher grill. I'm in no hurry what so ever to get rid.
