I signed up with Eclipse in December 2006, had the broadband for two weeks couldnt get it to work properly, kept on cutting out and not being able to connect to the internet at all. Phoned their IT department to try and sort out the problems and in my opinion they were useless.
Told them I was cancelling my broadband with them, they agreed and sent me an envelope to return the modem to them. That was in January 2007. Never heard anything from them until 10th October 2007 demanding 67.61 for a termination fee and a months notice. Emailed them straight away, they never replied to my email until 5th November 2007 saying that my account was correct. I emailed them back telling them that it wasnt and why has it taken them from January to October to bill me.
Then I got home yesterday to find that they had sent my invoice to a debt collection agency without warning and nothing was even said on the email they sent me on 5th November. They sent the account on 1st November. I am FURIOUS with them, and going to write to Watchdog about their lack of service, respect, customer services and unprofessional approach. I told the debt collection agency I was in dispute with them and they sent the account back to them.
