Good Points

The Honda HRV 1.6i 4WD is reliable, practical, fun to drive and funky good looks and relatively easy on the pocket ! Good driving position gives a much better view of the road ahead and its a fun drive probably why they call it the JOY MACHINE! After having driven a 1996 Saab 900 convertable for the last 5 years the HRV is light, smooth and very quite indeed and although mine is already 6 years old drives far better than the 2007 1.4 Renault Clio hire car that I had for 4 weeks which appeared to have a hole in its very guzzly fuel tank ...very thirsty little Clio indeed !

Not so for the HRV ..a joy to behold indeed !

Bad Points

Havn't found any so far but do miss the practicality of the Saab's on board computer that lets you know when to service, put in more oil, top up the water etc etc ..probably a female thing although I dont miss the BING BONG everytime it had a message.. it was a bit like being in an airplane cabin !

General Comments

My HRV has an upgraded black leather interior with blue suede panels which goes well with the blue in the dash and with its reclining rear seats the kids love it on a long journey ! It has a decent boot which can accomodate 4 medium size suitcases if put in the standing position which is more than can be said for the average hatchback. It has more than enough leg room and with its black coachwork and dark smoke tinted rear windows looks very smart and sleek ... in short ...I love it and the fact that you simply don't see that many of them on the road makes it stand out from the crowd ! Indeed it took me over 2 months to find the exact model with a leather interior and 4 doors as opposed to 3 but it was definitely worth the wait !
