Just like everyone else, my player can no longer recognize perfectly good DVDs. I'd encourage everyone here to register their complaint on this player at http://www.bigclassaction.com/class_action/sony.ht ml

    Just wanted to pass along a fix I found at http://www.benmorris.net/dvd/



    Pretty straight forward, but you will need a sodering gun & magnifying glass or really good eyesight.



    It took me about 15 min to fix & I know nothing technical about electronics.

    I used the fix and got a Sony DVP S360 to work.
    The player cost me $3 at a garage sale this morning.
    Thanks a lot.
