Good Points

Easy to get a car from them via the web, rates were ok.


Bad Points

1. They charged us £850 without sending even an invoice, proofs, or anything like that
2. The car was taken dented and scratched - this was noted in the rental contract but it looks like we're paying for the servicing of their vehicle


General Comments

We took the car in Venice from Auto Europa; the car was dented and scratched - but we didn't complain as it was noted in the contract (in Italian) and it was a functional car so we felt it's ok as they are a professional rent-a-car. We returned the car at Milan Malpensa airport but they were too busy to do a detailed inspection so they asked us to drop off the keys (they will inspect the car later). That's ok - we've done it with many other companies. Needles to say, the car was in the exactly same condition as we took it.

One month afterwards I noticed £850 going off my credit card to AutoEuropa Palermo. I called my credit card provider and AutoEruopa UK (we rented the car via their website) and they said they'll send me documentation in 10-15 days. Nothing happened in over a month now, and I don't know what to do next. I can only guess AutoEuropa is claiming damages, but we have no proofs/invoices/anything from them.
