From my experience with Carole Nash, they are not as good as they used to be. i will not be going back to them

General Comments

Where do I start?
Currently own a R1.
Insurance; My insurance with Carole Nash is £600 I have been thinking of changing to a touring bike and have priced up a Honda, Through Honda insurance fully comp with European cover is less than £250, when I called up Carole Nash they asked me for another £70. If I do change I know where I will be going.
Breakdown: I had my bike knocked over in a garage, luckily (I Think) I was in the bathroom at the time, anyhow, Bike was hit quite hard and I called the Carole Nash help line. The customer service centre were pretty good, but information was incorrect. I was informed that the bike will be picked up in the next 2 hours and be taken home. They offered me a choice of garage to get the bike fixed, as I did not know of any of the top of my head, they suggested their own garage in Manchester.
Three and a half hours later after two other motorbike break down vehicle trucks passed through the petrol station I was picked up by the break down truck. The driver informed me that he had to go into London to drop the bike in to his companies storage area before being transported to Manchester and you guessed it, he knew nothing about taking me home to South Wales from East Sussex. ummmm, I just asked the driver to drop me off at a tube station and I got the train home. Started the journey at 7am got home at 6pm.
A few weeks later I had the bike back, it was not a warm day so I just received it and it went straight into the garage minimising any rain or getting wet. Approximately a week and a half later i went to get the bike out for a good day out riding and noticed a dent in the tank. I contacted Carole Nash and they just passed me to the garage department who eventually picked up the bike and then denied that anything happened at their garage. VERY unhelpful. Eventually myself and the garage person come to an agreement and I paid a part fee to get the tank fixed and side fairing changed they missed out which was damaged.
On waiting to receive the delivery of the bike back i awaited for the bike and asked to be called before delivery, the same manager said that if i was not in, the bike would be left on the drive. Not a good response coming from a bike insurance company.
