Good Points

The PD engine in the vRS and all the other VAG models is very strong and capable. The standard power is very addictive, you cant seem to get enough of that torque giving you a kick up the backside.

General Comments

Great car! I previously owned the Honda Civic 1.7 CDTi and after the experience i'd pick the Skoda equivalent every time! The PD engine in the vRS and all the other VAG models is very strong and capable. I The standard power is very addictive, you cant seem to get enough of that torque giving you a kick up the backside.I found mine to average at around 50mpg . If you decide you've suddenly caught heavy-foot syndrome in wet conditions don't bother heading for that ASR button as the traction control is useless. 5-door is another nice feature over the usual hot-hatch 3-doors. More than enough storage in the cabin area and boot is of a decent size. Nice 'vRS' embroided interior stands out and is very comfortable on long journeys. Trust me you will love this car!
