Good Points

Great drive, not bad fuel economy considering the weight of the car and how it performs, very comfortable with the leather version.

Bad Points

When I bought the car it felt fine but after 2-3 months heard a squeaky light knock from the rear and upon inspection and my surprise the rear suspension carrier decided to rip its self out of the boot floor, a fortune to fix, but as this was structural I took it too BMW dealer and they fixed it for free. Apparently this 98-01 vehicle has had this happen to the odd one of the production road car but this is a RARE occurrence unless it has been on a track and thrashed.

General Comments

You can pick these up quite cheap now and they are a car to be reckoned with but get it thoroughly checked out before you buy, but if it is ok then it is an A+++ from me.
My comparison is to an Audi Quattro 2.3, which served me well and a hard act to follow but I am chuffed now it is fixed. It still feels quick to me even now I am used to the drive that it offers. Carfolio say it is 0-60 mph in 7.1 secs. Had a 'spat' with a 330 Ci and he did not exactly leave me like to make me think 'I must change to a 330 Ci'.
