General Comments

I recently had destuctos and switched to grind kings. I had a pair of destructos, and they worked very well with sturdy bushings and tough material and design. They are somewhat heavy though, not really heavy, but heavier than GKs, and since I was having issues with tre flips, I thought I might invest in the king of grinds. Basically every comment before me described GKs, and though they king pin can rub against the board, and the bushings can break down, it depends on how you use them. The kingpin can rub because the nut that tightens the trucks is placed inside the base plate. nut is built with a square frame around it, so that it can lock into a square slot on the base plate. and the truck tightens by the kingpin being placed with the hanger and bushing on it, and then screwing the kingpin into the bolt. this pulls the kingpin down, thus if over tightened, can tighten the end of the bolt into the board under the base plate. and the bushings are sturdy, but again, if over tightened, causes them to break in to much at once and become loose. Tightening them some, then letting them set, break down, then tightening some more allows them to break in to a point then feels right for you. GKs are an effective truck that can stand up to anything you throw at it, as long as you are somewhat of a good skater, and don't have to tighten them all of the way down, which causes the only two minor faults GK has, to come out. GK are definitely one of the best trucks available to society right now, and as long as you can ride a board that the kingpin doesn't have to be bottomed out, then these are honestly the trucks for you.
