Good Points

We have two children and this was an ideal family holiday. The owners laid on everything we needed including cots and high chairs and even the loan of a car seat. The views from the pool are spectacular and the pool is carefully screened so that it is safe for kids. We found having the owners on site very helpful for babysitting and advice on where to eat. The pool was the best and cleanest outdoor pool we have ever used, thanks to it being cleaned every morning for us. There are shops nearby and also a bank with an ATM. The Centro Storico of Gualdo is delightful The Italians love kids so we had a wonderful time

Bad Points

The very local restaurants are fairly basic although quite cheap. If you want something special you need to travel some distance

General Comments

An all round great holiday. The mountain views are great and our hosts were very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will certainly be back to this part of Italy and have recommended this place to friends. Hopefully when our children are just a bit older we may return to ski in the winter.

I have been here and there is no way this pool is safe for children. The patio around the pool has about a 8 - 10 ft. drop from a balcony with a simple post fence that any small child could fall through - plus it's about a consistent 5 ft. deep with no shallow end.

The poolside was made child safe while we were staying there by the owners who had added a fine mesh fencing on the side of the pool with the drop and of course we know that no level of water is safe with small children who should, and of course were, never ever left unattended in any depth. They also supplied a paddling pool for our toddler which was ideal.
