Very smooth handling, powerful machine and generally a very good bike to go for rideouts. You need a bit of time to master it (and believe me this bike needs respect), but when you're done you can't help it but love it.
Fuel consumption, but really it's a small price to pay compared to all the fun you get. Oh, yes it's also heavy to handle when stopped, so DO NOT park it on a slope. Handles quite well around sharp corners, but it could certainly improve.
This Yamaha XJR1300 is probably the best bike I've ridden for years and if I ever sell it (unlikely) I would still get myself another XJR. Overall I think it deserves a 10/10 satisfaction.
