Spacious clean apartment with well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.
Swimming pool in garden with magnificent views.
Excellent location for exploring local area.
Bad Points
None really but a microwave in the apartment would be useful, also you would get better value for money if more people stayed - with only two of us, the three other double bedrooms were a little surplus to our requirements.
General Comments
My wife and I had a holiday in Italy at the end of August. We had previously spent time in Rome and were looking for somewhere to relax after the rigors of sight-seeing. We were not disappointed at all with our stay in Gualdo. Our hosts were charming and helpful, offering valuable assistance on where to eat out in the area as well as suggesting interesting places to visit. On our last day there we joined them in a barbecue and spent a delightful evening with them. Whether sun-bathing by the pool or exploring the surrounding country side by car or on foot we had a very enjoyable time. The gentle pace of Italian life in this part of Italy is ideal for a relaxing stay. We liked it that much we will definitely go again.
