No alcohol and canceled flight.
General Comments
My first flight was superb, only myself and another couple in business class meant I had a flight attendant to myself for the whole journey. Food was very good and soft drinks a plenty. The airport service was good too, free use of the lounge at Heathrow along with quick check-in.
The return journey wasn't so good, got a phone call from the UK to say my flight had been canceled and I need to get to an Egypt Air office to sort out another way home, this meant I incurred call costs and a taxi fare to go and get new tickets.
I ended up having to go Luxor-Cairo-London with a long lay over in Cairo, the only bonus was being allowed in the private lounge at Cairo. The flight from Cairo to Heathrow full and not very enjoyable.
In hindsight it wasn't realistic for them to fly with a plane that is only a third full so the cancellation wasn't to bad.
All in all it was a good flight from what is a no frills airline when compared to BA and Virgin etc. I would use them again if I ever go back to Egypt.
