Great picture quality. Lots of manual control. 8X optical zoom. Great auto exposure metering.
Bad Points
The electronic viewfinder (EVF) blanks when taking multiple frames at 3FPS so it's not too good for action photos. Easy to operate buttons unintentionally.
General Comments
Mines Nikon Coolpix 5700 has got a "hot" pixel in the centre. Not too much of a problem as I always load the pictures into photoshop before printing but it's still annoying. I do like the camera though.
