General Comments

Ah yes, that strange stuff as seen in the American TV ads and the dodgy dubbing for us Brits where their mouths are never in synch with the words ..!

The product itself .. well, I wouldn't recommend it for those of you who have a full head of hair .. it can be messy. VERY messy.
Be careful when you apply, as even the smallest colourless splashes on your pristine white sink or bath soon turn dark brown within a few hours and are quite difficult to remove. For goodness sake, be sure that you wash any drips off your neck/face/forehead because you WILL be stained and nothing worse than going in to work with a dark coloured stripe across your forehead ..! Don't forget to wash your hands too.

I suppose it does work and if you use it two or three times a week as per the instructions, the colour does more or less hold.
There are lots of horror stories about hair turning every shade from yellow to green (in my case its more of a gingery brown) but take these stories with a pinch of salt because it all depends on your individual hair, the condition of it, natural colour, depth of grey etc. etc.

The good thing about Grecian is its gradual effect. I wouldn't go as far as to say "natural" but the fact that grey will still show through and the colour is a little uneven avoids the "Oh my GOD, you've dyed your hair" comments. Unlike other men's hair colour, it doesn't cover the lot in a flat false shade of brown (or whatever other colour you choose).

The product claims to be full of conditioners that make your hair look and feel fab .. well, not sure I'd agree with that statement and if you have light coloured pillow covers, expect the colour to transfer .. especially if you've applied it that night. Lastly, make sure your hair is bone dry before applying.

I wouldn't say it's the best solution to the problem of greying hair but it IS subtle and ideal for those guys who don't have the confidence to be grey one day and face the world with black hair the next day.
