Bad Points

Extremely small seats and lack of legroom, and I am only 5ft 1"


General Comments

On return flight to Gatwick we were told that we were to fly to Manchester to drop people off then on to Gatwick. This all seemed very strange as we had to pass Gatwick to Manchester, hence having to then go back on ourselves.

We were then not told until we landed that we had to exit the aircraft, collect our luggage and queue to once again check in for our flight back to Gatwick.

Due to the current regulations, we had to also pack any liquid goods we had purchased at the airport and on the plane into our suitcases. May I also point out that at no point were we guided on where we had to go once we entered Manchester airport.

Once we had finally checked our luggage back in and once again gone through all of the security checks, we were asked over the tannoy to proceed IMMEDIATELY to the departure lounge.

In all we were at Manchester 3 hours, and at no point were we offered even a glass of water, after our drinks had been taken from us due to current regulations this was the least they could do!

In the departure lounge we were left waiting like cattle, until the MY Travel representatives sent out police officers to advise of what was happening. I found this utterly disgusting that a police officer was to tell us such information and think that My Travel should be ashamed that their staff are too cowardly to advise it's customers of what was happening.

The crew on board both flights (same crew on both flights) were very friendly, and they too had endured the 18 hour journey home from Mombasa.

Would never fly with My Travel again, and wouldn't book through Thomsons ever again whilst they are using such shoddy airlines.
