Nice gun, Beautiful Stock, relatively cheap replacement parts.
Read the Review below!
Ive been toying with the idea of buying a Falcon FN19 Raptor Mk2 Skelton for a while now, but after reading all the reviews here it has kinda put me off buying one now. Why you might ask?... Well for a start I own the 8" version which is an absolutely beautiful piece of kit. The gun only measures just under 70cm from butt to tip, and with the additional long silencer from falcon it measures approx 87cm. Its basically the same as the 19" version, same breach, magazine, bolt action etc, though it has a smaller length skeleton stock (only in the grip area) to accomodate the the 8" barrel. When youre out stalking for a few hours in the afternoon its a joy to use as it only weighs around 5 lbs with scope. Standing shots are a doddle, and its right on the limit too. Why then you might ask am I complaining? Because fire two to three magazines and the power reduces dramatically. I generally refill after firing 16-20 shots as there is a sharp drop off in power, brought about by the small air resevoir on the gun. FN19 I thought, but you only get 60 shots. I think I will keep the 8" version for afternoon jaunts (It really is a lovely gun!) and buy a Rapid 7/12... 300 shots @ 12ftlb, better still around 80 @ 30ftlb or 40 @ 40ftlb! Sorry guys I need the opposite extreme, more shots - more power! Peace and keep up the good work falcon, but please give us more shots!!!
