    General Comments

    My friend has been trying for 3 months to correct his address details that they have changed magically by Abbey. Apart from the fact that he has a credit card that Abbey issued to him but never delivered to him along with late penalty fees for a card that he was not informed that he has and for which he hadn't got any statements either. He went to a branch in Brighton where he was seen by a lady who was covering for branch manager and after a week he found his address wrong again. He must have called their customer service 20 times. His last attempt was with someone who was someone who was chewing a gum and called him mate.

    I now have started to worry myself too as I have applied for a credit card and I have not heard anything for 20 days. When I went to the branch they told me that they cannot help me as the online system is completely automated and they do not have access to it! My friend advised me to stay far from Abbey but now I have to wait and see what is happening.
