Bad Points
None of my flights departed nor arrived on-time while in Greece. The flight from Athens to Mykonos was late departing by more than two hours. There wasn't any notification by the airline as to the delay nor apology offered. While the flight attendants attempted a beverage service, due to the brevity of the flight, as soon as your drink was handed to you it was immediately taken away in preparation for landing. I was not the only passenger who was amused by this comedy.
I returned a week and a half later from Mykonos to Athens with no better service. Due to this delay and the increased security measures in Athens, I almost missed my flight back to Charlotte.
General Comments
I would recommend booking with Aegean Air for service in and around Greece. Olympic makes all U.S. airlines look great from every angle. This was the most confused and disorganized airline I have ever had the misfortune of flying. I also felt that the planes were not the cleanest nor the best maintained. This includes all the airplanes I have flown on in both Central and South America....and that is saying something.
