I have to say, I've always secretly liked this track but never really owned up to it... I mean it's Phil Collins for crying out loud! In The Air Tonight has had a recent revival courtesy of Cadburys chocolate and a drumming gorilla, which has subsequently sent it rocketing into the download charts and indeed the 21st century.
A great track with a fantastic drumming solo, Collins may be more at home in your dad's CD collection but he is undoubtedly a great songwriter and this track proves it. I for one will be getting hold of the greatest hits album. Just don't tell anybody.
The power of advertising has given this... ahem... classic a new lease of life. If you weren't around the first time it was a hit then I'd recommend giving it a listen. Fantastic.
