Vodafone Mobile Connect 3G/GPRS Review

Got the Vodafone Mobile Connect card as a free item when I purchased my laptop, came with £20 worth of credit, so far so good. But when I tried to use it in Portugal, found that roaming was blocked. Complained to Vodafone, assured that roaming would be enabled (but I wasn't convinced). Once again in Portugal trying to use the Vodafone P network, not allowed. Complained again to Vodafone, who again assured me that problem would be resolved. Apparently the excuse was that I was on a tariff that didn't exist! As I'm very infrequent in use, there was no point in taking out a contract as that would be a complete waste of money (which is what Vodafone wanted me to do). Persevering, I tried once more to use the Vodafone Connect card outside the UK and again roaming was blocked.

Frankly Vodafone are absolute rubbish.
