General Comments

I was suddenly forced to get a new phone because my 7110 thought he would go swimming in orange juice and this meant the internal motherboard died therefore killing off all my numbers I had built up over x years. However not to be too disheartened I thought I'd take the opportunity to try and get a world class phone. I was presented with the 7250 (slim and sleek), the Panasonic GD87 and finally the 3650. The GD87 was now discontinued and so there was no more in stock. The 7250 looked fine but the screen seemed too small. When presented with 3650 I laughed at salesman and said this is way too big. He then went through the functions and said I would not be disappointed and admittedly I was amazed. It had a nice big screen and had some very good things like Mutimedia Messaging (Picture Messaging), Digital Camera, Video Recorder which allows you up to 20 seconds, composer to make your own tunes, PDA type diary, 16 mega byte memory card which can easily be upgraded and of course Blue tooth and Infa red technology allowing you to transfer data between the phone and PC. There are many more exciting things this phone has but I'd be writing a longer essay. To conclude I want to say the phone is truly amazing and is like having a mini computer at your disposal. I was embarassed at first by the size but people who know about top quality phones will definitely rate this one up there. I'm still learning more about the phone and have deliberately refrained from reading the instructions so that when I do it will be clearer. I read some of the other reviews and some users had problems setting up MMS. A solution around this which worked for me is to send one of the shipped picture messages to yourself which activates the GPRS/ WAP. When I finally done this then downloading ring tones was a doddle. On a last note as well as continuing to learn more about the phone I need to find out how I can get a whole movie on the phone which I've heard can be done.
