Good Points

MPG Caps are simply a fuel power booster. They give a mild increase to your fuel's octane rating. You should be able to even tell the difference because your car will seem a little more responsive, just like when you fill your fuel tank with a premium fuel. However, the increase in the octane rating is about 0.5 so we are not talking the same scale of increase you would get say if you go from 95Ron unleaded petrol to 98Ron. MPG-Caps are a mild fuel power booster - but thats all they do!

Bad Points

None of the manufacturers claims for increased fuel efficiency or reduced emissions have been substantiated in any way. I have tested this product for 6 months and it is almost impossible to tell if the MPG-Caps make any difference to fuel efficiency whatsoever. Trying to measure an increase of fuel efficiency that is around 10%, as claimed by FFi, the manufacturers, is almost impossible. I can vary my car's mileage by more than 10% just by changing my driving style and other factors impact on MPG such as: weather, tyre pressure, motorway journey's Vs town driving, number of passengers and so on. As for emissions, well frankly I have no idea. It is just a claim and as I said FFi have failed to substantiate their claims other than the octane rating which is probably true, based on my own experiences. The rest of what they say is simply too much of a mystery that they themselves seem incapable of being able or prepared to supply any hard evidence to support. I myself became a distributor of this product and even as a representative all I found was smoke and mirrors and no hard facts. They don't want to say anything about this product which makes me very suspicious. Also they don't want the motoring press to get involved, which again makes me think they have something to hide. If you have a fantastic product that produces amazing results, surely you would want the world to test it and put you to the test. This is not an open and transparent organisation.

General Comments

A general lack of transparency and openness leads me to believe that FFi are not a company that any self respecting person should do business with. Their claims have never been substantiated and they market a simple fuel power boosting pill as something completely different. There is no MPG benefit in using this pill and without testing the emissions, which I have not, I cannot comment whether there is any benefit there either. My car is only 1 year old so emissions wise it has the latest catalytic technology available on the market and is a relatively clean diesel powered vehicle. Using MPG caps has not in any way over 6 months increased MPG although I do feel a slight increase in engine responsiveness.

This is simply a power boost pill and in my opinion should not be marketed as anything other than that. I have since stopped selling this product but I found that people were so skeptical anyway that sales were not particularly good anyway. I assume FFi make all their money from first timers who become distributors so that they can test the product before selling it. I doubt they have very many real end users who repeat purchase - and if they have THEN STOP WASTING YOUR MONEY!
