In beautiful settings, fantastic spa bath, big room.
No staff after 5pm, room not ready until 4pm although promised for 2pm
We stayed in the Tudor room with a 4 poster bed, gorgeous bedding and Molton Brown toiletries with gorgeous views overlooking the pool and coloured water fountain. We absolutely loved the big spa bath, you can easily not leave your room here. We didn't pick a room with a hot tub outside as it was a cold weekend, we were glad because they were overlooked by those on the first floor anyway.
It's a bit of a walk into Bowness but it's lovely, we got a taxi home at night because it was pitch black and uphill and my boyfriend wouldn't give me a piggy back!
We stayed on a Sunday & Monday which cost £180, the weekends are alot more expensive, the same room would have cost £300 had we stayed on the Friday & Saturday!
We will definitely go back again.
