Unique, artistic, beautiful ecards that not many people know about yet.
Not for people who want a large quantity of ecards for the same price.
I generally prefer to send "real" physical cards to friends, but often I am just super-busy and unable to go to the store to get an appropriate card to send, even though I'd like to, for any particular occasion to celebrate or convey condolences, etc...
Most of the free ecards available online are just cheesy. Ojolie.com is a terrific premium artistic ecard site and quite affordable. Although you don't necessarily have the wide range of cards as a typical free site, the quality more than makes up for that. The ecards are artistic and moving with very tasteful music.
It is very hard to describe how their ecards are different from the typical ecards. If you know about the ecards from www.jacquielawson.com, then you know what I am talking about. Some people may confuse their ecards. Although both ecards are artistic, their styles are quite different. Jacquie Lawson's ecards are more English country, while those from Ojolie.com are very varied and worldly. For example, Ojolie.com has some ecards that are influenced by the Japanese style and elegance. Both sites offers about 14-18 new ecards a year. You can subscribe to either one or both sites, depending on your taste, or if you want to access to a even bigger selection of artistic ecards.
The price is right. The membership is $10 US a year. It is a bargain for the Europeans because of the favorable currency exchange rate. Just sending one ecard to a few people will already be worth the membership fee.
When I send out Ojolie.com ecards, my friends have always been very impressed with the quality and originality of the ecards I sent them. I highly recommend you check them out. Their ecards are indeed the type of ecards that your family and friends will enjoy receiving.
Special Security Functionality
In general when you send an ecard (from any ecard site), an email is sent to the recipients to "pick up" the ecards at the ecard site. The default email subject from Ojolie.com is "[Sender's full name] has sent you an ecard from Ojolie.com". This is the correct way to display the email subject. A typical subject from an ecard scam is something generic, such as "A friend has sent you an ecard".
Ojolie.com offers a feature that allows you to override the default subject with a optional personal subject. It also offers an optional personal message to be included in the email message. According to Ojolie.com's blog, http://www.ojolie.com/blog, "[the functionality] will personalize and distinguish your email from the recent fake ecard email scams and increase the chance that your ecard will be viewed by the recipients."
