Where to start; one of the funniest films I've seen this year, quite possibly ever. The storyline is reasonably solid - the 3 boys trying to get laid before they move to college, and the upcoming party may be their last chance. Therefore, they must get some alcohol to get the girls. It may not sound that good, but the scope for jokes is endless.
The 3 actors are fantastic, and anyone who's seen knocked up earlier in the year will know vaguely of Jonah Hill, the youngest housemate of the main character, who in this film and plays the cocky and loud Seth, but then he is backed up by a believably inexperienced and unsure-of-himself Evan (Micheal Cera) and a fantastic Fogell (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), the geeky lad with no idea about girls, who thinks a fake ID calling himself 25 year old McLovin is a good idea. They work well together, and it makes each of them seem more realistic, even if the story isn't.
The two cops who turn up halfway through (one of them is writer Seth Rogen, main character of Knocked Up) are comedy genius, and you can't help laughing the whole time they're on screen.
Bad Points
The only bad thing I can think of is that the last half hour (the party and aftermath) aren't as funny as the first half, and it ends up seeming to drag a little. However, this is by no means a bad thing, even this bit is still funnier in my opinion than most of the other similar genre films this year.
Oh, and also, I wouldn't go to see it with your parents, as I wouldn't really say its suitable/as entertaining as it is for teens/early 20's.
General Comments
Superbad is almost guaranteed to make you come out feeling good about yourself and laughing about it for a long time (I saw it nearly a month ago, and I still say everything is great). All I can say is, please see it before you die, otherwise you've wasted your life.
