General Comments

just bought a Daystate harrier x the other day to use mainly in FT, prefer to use my BSA lightning as a hunting weapon, but due to the multishot capability its fast becoming my fave hunting gun.
forget the air arms s410, get 1 of these they really are fantastic thats all i can say!

You must have bloody big rats where you are from! And surely if a .177 can kill a rabbit it can handle a rat.

Yeah I see your point in getting a .25 but they are only really accurate at close range, and you will be more likely to be attacked by rats by getting close to take the shot lol!

I don't believe in the old fashioned notion that .22/.25 are the only caliber suitable for hunting, I have read magazine articles and reviews stating that .177 is as suitable as any caliber.

I would always use .177 for feather and .22 for fur.... but rats are built like battleships and i prefer the destructive power of a .25. your typically too close too rats for .177 accuracy to be any use anyway.
