Once scoped in accuracy is impeccable. Lightweight. Easy to break barrel and general comfortable to use.
I've had my shadow 1000 since i was 17 and I'm now 20 1/2 and it still works fine, there's been a drop in power, it will dip after about 50 feet or so but after 3 years this isn't surprising. I've mostly used it for target shooting but on the few occasions i've been hunting with it, it's been a good all rounder the stock doesn't rub against your hands like other rifles with wooden stocks. So you can pretty much walk around with it all day if needs must. This was my first rifle and is still my best, I'd recommend it to anyone, top buy.
