General Comments

Bought a Samsung LCD TV in mid-September. Was originally told delivery would be 3 working days. Got an email 2 days later telling me delivery had been delayed by a week, then the next week had another email, and the next week etc. After 4 delays in delivery, and having been told on the phone by 247 Electrical [them telling me I would definately have my TV delivered on a certain date because they had 100 items coming in to stock, and I was one of 90 orders bla bla bla] I finally lost my rag. - by this point I had been waiting four weeks for a product that was promised to be delivered within 3 days, and I was going to have to wait another 2 weeks, or so they said, more likely another 12 weeks.

I demanded to speak to the manager, or someone in a position of authority to explain this disgraceful service - it is worth noting they had charged me the amount to my credit card, so I was £600 out of pocket at this point - they didn't have the decency to treat me with respect. After 4 phone calls and 2 emails insisting I speak to the manager, and again being told the manager did not have a phone [likely?] or not being around [likely?], I finally got hold of a customer services manager who then had the cheek to accuse me of 'abuse'!!

Simply wanting to speak to the manager of the company for an explanation as to why, when you have just spent £600 with them, why they change delivery dates and are rude on the phone - doesn't amount to abuse.

I have found 247 to be a terrible company, and would recommend you avoid at all costs. In the end I cancelled the order, and reported them to trading standards. The same day I placed an order with a much better company - THE FLAT TV COMPANY - the product was delivered the very next day. Enough said.
