Good Points

Produced a great flavour.
Manufacturer did stand by its product.

Bad Points

Broke badly after three uses.

General Comments

Only after using it a few times, the white enamel just shattered in the middle of cooking. When I stirred the casserole, white little shards started to appear. The bottom of the pot had come off and I had to throw out the dinner.
I took it back to the retailer who sent it away to Le Creuset. Despite no longer having the receipt (as it was a gift), they were happy to replaced it with a caution not to overheat it next time. I didn't think I treated it that badly.
It took me a while to trust the thing again but I finally did and made a casserole making sure I had plenty of liquid. It was so easy to fry the onion in the pan on the stove pot, then put the remaining ingredients in the pot then in the oven. The result was one of the best casseroles I have made in a long time.
So my advice is they are good, and the manufacturer stood by its product, but treat with lots of kindness.
