Good Points

About the only springer with a magazine
It can be fitted with a gas strutt

Bad Points

If you have the barrel up in the air while cocking, pellets may drop out and get in the piston cylinder, use tight fitting pellets.
Rarely shoot 5 in a 1/2" group, there's usually one out, could be the pellets

General Comments

Which pellets shoot best in yours Chris, I've tried 6 different makes but can't often get 5 in a 1/2" group, RWS Superpoints seem to be the best so far. You won't have any trouble fitting a gas strutt as long as you don't take the piston cylinder out, the spigot needs to be filed flat on the retaining pin and that's it, just re-assemble. Where I went wrong was, because I couldn't get the last spacer and washer out I took the cylinder out to get at them, then when I re-assembled it the indexing wouldn't work, after about a dozen try's I took it to a gunsmiths. He fixed it, it had a broken trigger spring, but said I couldn't have it assembled because it was shooting over at 13ft/lbs and he took the strutt out, charged me £35+ vat = £42. When I got it home it took me 5 mins to put the strutt back in and I shot it into a telephone book at 10yds and it was shooting 6 pages less than my air-arms pro-sport and that's spot on at 11.9 ft/lbs, so the gunsmiths crony wasn't reading right, probably the lighting, if that's wrong the reading's wrong. A piece of plastic split of the mag. So I got a new one from Blackpool Rifles and some times it index's two chambers, It seems to be the spring that's too strong, so after 5 I take the mag. Out and refill so I don't dry fire. In time when the spring weakens a bit it will probably be okay. That' s it i'll have a cup of tea now, straight shooting,
Ken.
