Good Points

Feature packed, clear sound, good MP3 player, good radio, fits very nicely indeed in a shirt pocket, hasn't fallen out yet! Selectable options - eg slider can answer a call when opened, or not as you choose. Nav buttons can be shortcuts to almost any function - very useful.Good pictures - not as good as a dedicated 3MP camera, but it is still very usable and handy. Software easy to use, but a little buggy transferring MP3's to phone, it just stops after 3 or 4 tracks and needs to be restarted. Good options to change themes fonts and the overall look and feel. The number pad works well. 60 MB internal memory is good to get started with, but if you don't use a PC then this will definitely need a boost via the Micro-SD card slot. Volume button on side, with a dedicated camera button on the other - very convenient and immediate.

Bad Points

Battery life. Battery life. Battery life. Specifications say "260 hrs standby" HAHAHA. The right numbers just the wrong multiplier. It is really around "26 hrs standby". There is no way in this world this phone stays lit up for 11 days. No way at all. At very best this is 2 days, if you don't actually use it. The slider grip-lip below the screen makes using the up Nav arrow a bit tricky, heavy users may find this annoying. Phone switched itself off whilst using the MP3 player. Only once, yet. Not very good at maintaining signal in weaker signal areas (at least compared to my ancient Nokia 3510i). No third party remote unlocking available! Vodafone unlocked for £20.

General Comments

After a week's use I am impressed by the handiness and feature set of this phone. Good pictures, sound, calls and very customisable. Good for "posing". But, Because the battery is very poor with a measly 750 mAH, with a vulnerable, easy to scratch screen,I will be using this phone only for a night out, etc. For regular speech use I will continue with my 3510i. It lasts nearly 2 weeks between charges (original battery!) and you can't beat that fact for genuine reliability and convenience.
