Handling, quality, reliability, practicality, cheap to run.
I'll get back to you...
I have owned my 1998 1.3GX Micra for three years. Its probably the meanest looking factory built model, with black paint, tinted glass, sun roof, sports alloys and fat (stuck on a standard exhaust) exhaust finisher. I find the 1.3 engine punchy and responsive in the city, and surprisingly powerful and long legged on the motorway. I think Nissan got the design perfect with this model. It just looks right, with its tough compact body and clean simple lines. The all round visibility is the best of any car I've driven, and the handling in busy congested city environments its a pleasure. It fits easily into parking spaces many other cars struggle with or have to pass, yet can take a full load of passengers and shopping. Its reliability has passed into legend, and it is very economical to run. I've never been able to make my mind up about the next generation Micra, which looks awkward and fussy to me. I'll stick with my K11.
