Check in facilities
Noisy
Virgin Atlantic have an excellent check in facility if you use the online check in. No wait, just drop off the bags and walk through. Frankly the best I have come across. Staff are generally excellent, food very acceptable and a good range of inflight entertainment complete with goodie bag. Half hour delay on take off but landed on time. Seats are not very comfortable iIm afraid, a bit more padding on the seat will help! Leg room is ok, but width a bit narrow. Noisy at the rear of the aircraft due to engine noise. Perhaps the route needs a couple of new 777's now, I think these 747's seem a bit dated.
