Good Points

Looks like a 400/600 cruiser
Doesn't sound like a hair dryer
Reliable and doesn't use a lot of fuel
Suitable for long journeys/pillion passengers/touring
Can get up to 80mph and can pull away quickly


Bad Points

Cleaning (but worth it)
Unwanted attention!


General Comments

This is my first bike and have been riding it for a year now. It's a great bike as it looks good and can reach a decent speed. I used to travel from London to Ipswich every other weekend on the bike and it was a comfortable journey. I am doing my test soon so I can carry a pillion and I intend to keep it for another year because I like it so much! I also used it to commute and it is great for filtering because people tended to move out of the way which I'm sure they don't for scooters. Overall the Suzuki VL 125 Intruder is a great bike but some people might not like its lack of power at the top end.
