Good Points
Very good service; excellent knowledge of the food and where it came from (sourced locally where possible). Pub has enough parking and is easy to find.
Food was ordered 15 minutes after we arrived and took 10 minutes after that (for pasta dishes), and the food was exceptional.

Bad Points
None, I was that impressed!

General Comments
The The Cock Inn is a very well run, and friendly pub, with some exceptionally handmade pastas. I was really happy we took the time to go out Braintree way to sample it.
